Made to Suit OATH or OATH style hives up to 210 mm wide and 310mm long
Your hive is safely mounted, secured by 2 screws ( if you choose to screw your hive in) and most importantly the hive is centred over the top of the starpicket. No more leaning hives hanging off the side of the starpicket. As the screw holes are in the base of the hive there is no easy access for water to enter the timber and begin the rotting process. Your hive will be sitting on top of the round bars which makes it impossible for water to damage the timber. Our mounts are used by the biggest names in the industry for good reason.
We can custom make Standard Starpicket Mounts to suit odd sized hives but they will be painted and not hot dipped galvanised.

Used to mount your hive securely to any suitable vertical surface. Verandah post, fence post, brick wall etc... 2 screw holes are provided to secure your hive into the mount. We can make the mount in 2 configurations to suit your application. The mount can project the hive outwards from its mounting surface ( perpendicular ) or in line with the mounting surface ( parallel ). If you have a Goodrich Hive the parallel mount is normally used.
We can custom make these mounts if you have an odd sized hive but they will be painted black or silver ( your choice )

Standard Starpicket - Eduction Kit - $260.00 (including GST)

Our standard starpicket eduction kit makes joining two hives together easy while keeping a tiny footprint on the ground. The standard kit includes a starpicket base, duplication bar and 2 mounts that are custom made to suit your hives. 4 screw holes are provided in the standard mounts but you don't have to use them if you don't want to. Your hives will sit in these mounts just fine without screws. See our instructional video above.
